1. Run Windows Update
There may be speed fixes for your computer, just waiting to be updated.
2. Reduce your Web page history
If your web page history gets too big, it will slow down your computer. Delete your web history at least once a week.
3. Disable add-ons
Browser add-ons can slow your computer. To disable these add-ons, simply go to Internet Explorer, tools and click manage add-ons.
4. Free up disk space
If your disk is running out of space it can slow down Windows. To recover space run the Disk Cleanup Tool, which can be found in the Start menu. This tool will remove Internet cache files and delete unused programs.
